  • Swedish

A "general" massage. If you are new to massage, this is a good place to start. Great for those who are stressed and need a more relaxing experience.

Involves the use of long, flowing strokes with light to medium pressure. This soothing massage sedates the nervous system and brings warmth and softness to tired muscles.

Swedish massage will provide you with lasting relaxation, often followed by enhanced energy. Swedish is the baseline upon which other styles are performed.

  • Deep Tissue

A deep tissue massage is for the person who likes a strong touch and has one or more problematic or bothersome areas in the body.

Deep tissue affects the sub-layer of musculature and fascia. Deep tissue massage helps relieve chronic muscular pain, stiffness, and aids with injury rehabilitation by bringing more localized circulation. It also assists with increased range of motion to the surrounding tissues and joints by relieving tension on the muscles.

  • Osteo-Thai Massage

Perfect for those that enjoy yoga or moving bodywork.

This type of massage is performed on the floor with the therapist moving your body through different positions seamlessly. In each position, muscles are stretched, joints are activated, and kinks are relaxed and eased. It is a very relaxing method of performing a massage.

This work engages your entire body, but without effort on your end. Very useful as a post/pre exercise stretch routine. This technique is done primarily with clothes on, however the therapist may incorporate some of the stretching techniques as part of the table massage.

  • Hot Stones

Take your massage experience to the next level. Enjoy the pleasure and the therapeutic effects of heated stones. Stones are heated in a unique no water based method. No Mess! This unique method also allows for the hot stones to come to your home, with our mobile massage add-ons.

Heat has an incredible and effortless way of relaxing the muscles and tissues. Using the stones as an extension of the therapists' hands, the hot stones reduce the prep time it takes to work on a muscle deeply, as well as introduces texture and shapes to the touch not available otherwise.

  • SomaTherapy

A specialized manual therapy for the treatment of the joints, the fasciae and neurovascular systems to enhance optimum motor control and muscle function. Also helps to normalize fluid flow (synovial fluid, water in the collagen tubes of ligaments, tendons, bursae, and lymph) within the joint spaces and surrounding tissues/organs. Can also be used to reset muscle tendon and joint ligamentous attachments.

A very effective technique at rehabilitation of dysfunction. This works at the root cause of dysfunction.

  • ELDOA

To help my clients maintain the benefits of massage and improve their bodies, I teach them postural exercises developed by Guy Voyer, DO. The primary goal is to create space within a chosen joint articulation.

By guiding the client to proper form, utilizing proprioception (awareness), we can use lines of fascial tension to create space in very specific areas. Dr. Guy Voyer developed an ELDOA for each segment of the spine/extremities and it is one of the most powerful tools that I have learned.

This work will help in improvement of joint mechanics by reducing pressure on the spinal discs, by increasing blood flow and rehydration. This results in a reduction of pain, better muscle tone, improved posture, awareness and a sense of well being.
